SPIN CAST
Definition:
Spin casting involves using centrifugal force (a force used through fast rotation) to make castings from a rubber mold.
Uses:
Spin cast products are perfect for customers who are seeking a medal or casting at an economical price. Spin cast products are good for small detail in artwork or for photo image designs that are cast into metal. Production can be as little as one week after the artwork is approved. All spin cast products are available in three standard finishes antique gold, silver, and bronze. This plating is also laser engrave-able. Several base alloys are available for casting.

DIE CAST
Definition:
Die castings involves molten metal being injected into a steel die.
Uses:
Die cast products are ideal for quantities starting at 300. Normal production is four weeks after artwork is approved. Sizes can vary up to 8" in diameter x .50" thick. Die casting allows for intricate detail and cut out shapes. Design can be enhanced with 3D tooling. Plating is available in both antique and bright finishes. Die cast products are made from zinc which is strong and light in weight.

DIE STRUCK
Definition:
Die striking involves a flat metal being stamped with a steel die. The die has a negative impression built into it and when stamped leaves the positive impression into the base alloy.
Uses:
Die struck products are ideal for quantities starting at 300. Normal production time is four weeks after the artwork is approved. Sizes can vary up to 4" in diameter x .20" thick. Die striking allows for intricate detail and minimal cut out designs and can be enhanced with 3D tooling. Die struck products are used to make medals and coins typically used for the military and government agencies. The base alloys used are brass, copper, iron and aluminum.
